Aero Tech/Quest is pleased to announce the Tripoli certification of our new Classic Enerjet G73C (Enerjet 30) 29mm single-use model rocket motor. Our Classic Enerjet® 30 single-use rocket motor, now classified as our new Classic Enerjet G73C rocket motor, captures the spirt of the original Enerjet 30. This new rocket motor mimics the look, sound and performance of the original Enerjet propellant, which was used in the first composite propellant model rocket motors from 1971 to 1974. The original fiberglass-cased and graphic nozzle version was sold by Centuri/Enerjet for their commercial customers in the early 1970's. Initial shipments of this new Classic Enerjet rocket motor by AeroTech, should begin by March 1st, 2026.
The G73C features AeroTech's Classic'' propellant formulation producing 128.64 N-Sec (28.91 lb.-Sec.) of total impulse with a burn time of 1.85 seconds and total weight of 127g (0.27 lbs.). This is a great all-around "G" size rocket motor delivering impressive lift-offs with visible supersonic Mach diamonds. The 62g (0.13 lbs.) of AeroTech's Classic propellant produces a translucent exhaust plume and no smoke, appearing to make your rocket leap off the launch pad with a peak thrust of 89.90 N (20.21 lbs.) and an average thrust 69.32 N (15.58 lbs.).
The G73C rocket motor is available in 7 (No. 77308), 11 (No. 77311) and 15 (No. 77315) second time delays and features a molded phenolic casing with integral thrust ring. Display packaged in a single-motor clamshell with a FirstFire™ Jr.
Initiator and a nostalgic performance & instruction insert. Priced at $38.99 ea. SRP, this is a great rocket motor for nearly all Enerjet by Aerotech mid-power model rocket
